Guidelines for YOTA’s Entrepreneurs

 

 

l       Entrepreneurs will be Tibetans aged 18-35 with good credit record

 

l       Entrepreneurs must have knowledge about their business

 

l       Proposed business should be viable & sustainable

 

l       Proposals to be submitted to the Trustee Board

 

l       The project must have co-relation with market demand, and with adequate marketing plan

 

l       Upper limit of the fund will be Four lakhs (£ 5, 000/-). Half grant and half loan

 

l       YOTA will own the purchased for set up i.e. machines, computers, furniture, etc. and carry the insurance

 

l       The entrepreneur takes the ownership of these items after the working capital is repaid

 

l       The loan will be repayable 1-3 years with an 1% interest

 

l       Business accounts will be monitored every six months during the loan repayment period

 

l       Entrepreneurs will be expected to contribute between 10%-25% of the total funding at the discretion of the Trustees

 

l       Entrepreneurs will be required to sign appropriate legal documents

 

l       Funded Entrepreneurs to avail their service to YOTA (specially for talks and as a role model to new entrepreneurs)
