Anna is a recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago, where she majored in Theatre and minored in Mathematics and Musical Theatre. Along with pursuing endeavors as a musician, actor, dancer, director, and dramaturg, Anna has conducted extensive research on Race and Performance and Theatre for Social Change. Anna’s desire to communicate with a variety of audiences has fueled her passion for education and teaching. As a Math Coach for GEAR UP, she presented lessons and games that enforced middle school math concepts. As a Teaching Assistant and Tutor for Upward Bound, she facilitated high school classes in English, Math, and Music. Anna spent this summer working as a Theatre Faculty Associate for The Cherubs at Northwestern University, and she is delighted to be back in the Evanston/Skokie community. When not at Y.O.U., Anna is an ardent activist, fitness instructor, and bullet journaler.
