Rosselyn Lopez

Rosselyn serves as a Y.O.U.th Serve Member at Edison Elementary School.

Rosselyn grew up in Evanston and began her education at Dewey Elementary School, continued on at Nichols Middle School, and then Evanston Township High School. She recently graduated from Iowa State University with a double major in Criminal Justice Studies and Sociology. While at Iowa State, Rosselyn served on the executive board as Risk Management for her sorority and on The National Society of Leadership and Success Honors Club, was a part of the criminal justice club where she worked closely with county judges and clerks on cases, and was also a member of the swimming club. Rosselyn is excited to be back in her hometown to share the knowledge about social change and justice within the Y.O.U. community and the youth. In the future Rosselyn plans on pursuing a career in Criminal Investigations. During her free time, Rosselyn enjoys working out, hanging out with her nephews, and enjoying food. 

Fun Fact: Rosselyn grew up in a spanish-speaking household and travels back and forth to Guatemala to visit family and enjoy the warm weather and the beauties of the country.
