Karin Ruetzel

Karin-Ruetzel.jpgKarin is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Evanston.

In her practice, Karin sees children and adults from Evanston and neighboring communities. She has served as a consultant to Evanston preschools, elementary schools, and Evanston Township High School and been a community speaker on child development topics.

Karin has chaired community boards supporting educational institutions (ETHS Educational Foundation), mental health services (City of Evanston Mental Health Board) and youth programming (North End Mothers Club). She also previously served on Y.O.U.’s Community Council.

Karin is a graduate of Duke University where she currently serves on the Duke Engage National Advisory Board. She received her PhD from Loyola University of Chicago in 1987.

Since 1986, Karin, her husband, and their three children have felt fortunate to call Evanston home.
