Letitia Mann

Letitia was drawn to Y.O.U.’s mission after seeing first hand the singular impact of Y.O.U.’s services and programs.

Letitia-Mann.jpgShe initially served on the Y.O.U. Community Counsel in 2015, was inspired by the scope and impact of our programs and services, and hasn’t looked back since then!

Prior to her involvement with Y.O.U., Letitia developed skills in nonprofit governance at Baker Demonstration School during its transition to an independent preK-8 school, where she served as Board Chair for many years in addition to other key leadership roles. Letitia’s professional experiences include work in commercial banking, as well as executive leadership roles in marketing and sales for Xerox.  She was also a member of the Evanston Community Foundation’s 2017 Leadership Evanston class, and participated in SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) training sponsored by D65.

Letitia and her husband have lived in Evanston since 2001, and have two children, now both graduates of ETHS.  Letitia feels fortunate to participate with fellow board members and work with the executive team at Y.O.U. in expanding opportunities for local youth!
